we will be following the day-by-day development of a litter of Normal Winter White babies as they grow from just 1 day old to independance.
the coin is for size reference and is a UK £1 coin, measuring 2.25cm diameter
NOTE: it is not recommended to handle or even disturb babies just after birth as this could stress the mother, who may then destroy her pups as a defence mechanism. This mother is used to life in the busy hamstery and used to being handled and allows her pups to be examined. I would suggest you wait until the young babies eyes are open (12 days old) and they freely wander from the nest.
